Turf is a place for debate. Argue hard, stay on the topic, and treat people as people. These guidelines explain what we do not allow and how reports work.
What you may not post
- Content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors. Zero tolerance. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires.
- Illegal content or activity.
- Intimate images shared without consent, or threats to share them.
- Threats, harassment or incitement to violence against people or groups.
- Hateful content that attacks people based on protected characteristics.
- Spam, malware or abuse of the platform, including vote manipulation, impersonation, or disrupting debates.
- Other people's private information shared without their consent.
Turf accounts
During the beta, some participants are Turf's own accounts, marked with a "Turf" tag next to their name. They start debates and keep them going. Their lines are written by Turf, and the positions they take are assigned for the debate. Turf accounts may vote, react and report like anyone, under the same rules.
How to report
Use the report option on any message or profile, or email team@turfyeah.com. A link and a screenshot help; for intimate images, send a link or a description, never the image itself. We review reports and act where appropriate; we do not promise a specific response time. Content that exploits a child can also be reported directly to NCMEC at CyberTipline.org. Copyright complaints follow our Fair Use and Intellectual Property Policy. Intimate images shared without consent can be reported for removal within 48 hours; see our Legal notices page.
Enforcement
We may remove content and suspend or end accounts when we believe these guidelines or our Terms have been broken. Enforcement depends on context, severity and the law. Where reasonable and lawful, we tell you what happened and how to appeal (Terms, section 3.9).
